Join the Swamp Meadow Community Theatre Creative Team on September 30th @ 7pm at 21 Indian Rock Lane Hope, RI for our quarterly creative meeting! In this meeting, the creative directive and assistant directors will discuss programing for the remainder of 2026, 2027, and beyond. This meeting is open to the public, so if you’d like to join the conversation and see what productions, events, or education opportunities are in store for SMCT, we encourage you to join us.
Starting now and continuing through September 30th, we are accepting show, project and director proposals for our upcoming seasons. We want to hear all that you want to see from us, but currently, Swamp Meadow is specifically looking for projects that are:
- Plays with a large, all ages cast
- Plays for a cast age 6-16 (Children’s Theatre)
- Original/Public Domain Works
Surprise us! We’re excited to try NEW, original ideas, too — so don’t be afraid to suggest different kinds of shows and entertainment.
Ideally, we are looking for folks who want to take a leadership position along with their submissions. Proposals from people wanting to direct or produce the show will receive preference in the decision-making process. But don’t let that stop you from submitting. All proposals will be considered!
