Description

Swamp Meadow Community Theatre is excited to present The Shark is Broken, coming this spring of 2026.

During the long and arduous production of the movie Jaws, the mechanical shark malfunctions on set. While waiting, the three lead actors Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, and Roy Schneider are forced to explore their inner struggles, boredom, and frustrations towards each other. The intense conversations that follow delve into what it takes to make a film and be human.

Fans of the original blockbuster movie Jaws will enjoy this behind the scenes look of the movie. And even those not familiar will enjoy the deep relationships of the actors.
