Gift of the Magi reading

Recently, the Swamp Meadow Community lost a true legend in our theater, our dear friend Artie Robillard. Artie was one of a kind, putting a lot of love and energy into everything he did. He was also known for directing several of our holiday shows, and to celebrate Artie’s life and work, we would like to honor him with a reading of the classic holiday tale “The Gift of the Magi”.

The story of a young husband and wife and how they deal with the challenge of buying secret Christmas gifts for each other with very little money. This classic tale of kindness is adapted by Shannon McLoud from a short story by O. Henry.

If you would like to participate please sign-up here . Roles come on a first come/first serve basis. The live table-read will be December 11th at 7:30pm with a cast call time of 7:00pm.
